Stick down LED tape.

I'd been avoiding this fad but one of my granddaughters is getting her bedroom redecorated at the moment so it'll probably come up. For a dabble I've stuck some on the rear of my monitor for a backlight ____________________ Royal Enfield Continental GT 535, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |

Cheers for that. I'm torn between the larger Bambu or a Creality K1C which is down to £399 - 5% and can print carbon fibre.
Whatever I get wifie will moan. 'What do you need 2 printers for?' MY answer? For the same reason you have 3 paddleboards.
Then I shall escape to the pub. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

The new one I've just bought seems to be pretty easy so far.
Open your file and slice then print.
Slicing is just a step to take your image file and convert to code the printer understands.
A slicer is a program that lets you load a file in and tweak it - change colour, size, quality, speed, hollowness etc and then send to print
There are lots of design programs (many free, such as Blender, that allow you to create your designs from scratch and yes you can do what you said.
Do you need one?
Dunno
This is my second filament printer and I have a resin printer
Do I do anything particularly useful with them?
No
But at least I have a bit less money for Rachel Thieves to get hold of ____________________ Current bikes: Hondas - Forza 750, ST1100 Pan European |

Bitten the bullet and bought a Creality K1C. I did think about the Bambu but in the end went with what I know. My Ender 3V3SE has been totally reliable, just too slow for an impatient bugger like me. Only trouble with that is you have to buy high speed filaments to make the most of it and I have loads of ordinary stuff left. Oh well, I'll jack up the nozzle temperature and see how it manages.
Will see if I will regret my choice or not and if I can sneak it past wifie.
Honest dear, had it for years. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

Apparently I've bought some more plants ...
I had a bit of a gothic moment, buying various black-leaved plants for the front window winter gardening project So fuck knows where I am going to put those.
And a couple of wax melts cos I don't want the house smelling of dog when the Military Type comes to stay over Christmas.
Makes a change from cowboy boots I suppose, of which I have at least four new pairs that I still haven't even worn ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

A 290ml bottle of Worcester Sauce.
It was with a heavy heart yesterday that I shook out the last few drops from our old bottle (best before date December 2015). Only 9 years over
The new bottle has a best before date of October 2025!

Oddly enough I caught a documentary on how they make the stuff last night. Evidently it takes 3 years for all teh ingredients (Anchovies etc.. o rtot down - or 'mature' as they put it - so the prescribed shelf life can be safely ignored I guess. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750

Quite excited about finding this on FB market place.
It's not the newest model by a long way but even so, the tech is very impressive.
Bought just in time for the shite weather.

I keep weighing up whether to get a water softener. The water round 'ere's as 'ard as Conor McGregor before a rape trial. AFAIK they work by swapping calcium ions for sodium. The water's not "purer" just softer, seems like cheating somehow
As for my own purchases, Henry Weston's Vintage Cider. Comes in a wine bottle - again, that feels like cheating. The crosses one has to bear ____________________ Royal Enfield Continental GT 535, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |

A microwave and an air fryer.
Fuck knows why, I have nowhere to put them, I'll have to rearrange my whole fuckin kitchen
Assuming I am not supposed to stack them one on top of the other...? ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life.

Everyone I know - and that's not an aphorism, ppl IRL - has nothing to say but good things on air friers. But literally, I have nowhere I can put one in our tiny kitchen
As for stacking, microwaves have the ventilation on the back and/or sides. Stack whatever you like on top; taking in ergonomic considerations of course. ____________________ Royal Enfield Continental GT 535, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |
