Hi All

Does anyone know how to reset the engine management light on the keeyway RKF 2022 ?

I've seen loads of posts on the net but none of them work! All made by unknowledgeable hit hunters,

Disconnecting the battery for a few minuets- NO, I disconnect my battery on a weekly basis to charge it as we all know how good the RKF is at starting on cold mornings.

Turning the ignition on for 5 seconds , off for 15 on and off 5 times - NO
Think the poster of this one had had too many head injuries.

I would just like to know , if anyone does a way of resetting it, as I need to sell it and buy another lexmoto.

I have bought various leads etc for the OBD reader but these don't work, so just need the procedure.

Thanks in advance.

Fix the damn fault of course !
The eml only comes on when the ecu detects a signal it 'doesn't like'
suggesting a component fault.
if it doesn't a detect a fault state it doesn't come on
Get fault codes, fix fault, eml goes off.

It's probably running a flavour of the Delphi EFI system and the dtc list may self clear or not

On a Honda PGM-Fi for instance, the ECU will retain some dtc's until you run a 'clear codes' process but the eml will only show when here is an active fault

That's an option as unlike a car it isn't checked during an MOT

It was the O2 sensor, I have replaced it but I was also told I will still need to reset the error.

Thank You
