It is amusing that we are now suddenly killing kittens and slugs for what was a perfectly legitimate speed, simply because turkey neck made a gobble gobble and made it so.
Realistically, on the commute, everyone travels the 30mph the roads used to be ____________________ CBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11

FFS, talk about speeding and I get a NIP in the post from when I went to London to get my daughter. 24 in a 20. Bugger. I don't even remember driving through a 20 zone. Will I get an offer?

Harsh. Very Harsh. Especially when you consider the Delivereats cunts are zipping around in excess of that, unlicenced on illegal e-bikes. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750

I think the same thing about smoking in a car. It's quite a distraction trying to keep an eye on a controlled fire whilst driving just as much in my opinion as mobiles or satnav or even adjusting the radio. ____________________ CBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11

Well, that's over
The guy running the course started on time, kept on schedule and we finished exactly on time. 10/10 would speed again
Some of it was enlightening. Hardly anyone knew how to define a dual carriageway or which speed limits applied to what roads (Apart from me, engage smug mode.) There were some sections of pure propaganda which would have caused an Applied Mathematician an aneurism and some "touchy feely" how would you feel shite. I managed to keep quiet and stick to politically expedient rather than correct answers. Jump through the hoops, get it over with.
In my action plan I suggested I might get a "THINK 20 MPH" sticker to put on the bike somewhere. I may actually do that and slap one on the Old Fella's Harley when he's not looking ____________________ Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |
