Rage and despair after brazen attack kills 26 in Indian-administered Kashmir
To say the least, we have reached a low point in India/Pakistan diplomatic relations. If it does seriously kick off, some things to consider:

In a conflict, India's military would steamroller over Pakistan's in a matter of moments. I doubt they'd attempt to take over the entire country, given how well occupations in nearby Afghanistan have fared historically, but they'd probably be happy with just Kashmir. Because almost all freshwater sources flow through Kashmir to the rest of Pakistan. Why shoot your enemy when you can desiccate them?
If the bullets do start flying so will the refugees. And where will they be flying to?

I think there would be ground to argue that London (at least) has enough Indians and Pakistani communities that you cannot seriously seek "refuge" in London....either side of this potential conflict.
I know if I was running away from "threat X unknown" I certainly would not go to somewhere where "threat X unknown" is in abundance and try pretend to myself that I have escaped anything.

UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said Britain has been "engaged" in talks for "some days", with Foreign Secretary David Lammy speaking to both sides.
