Even without a life event it doesn't take much to fall off the Keto wagon, I've fallen foul many a time. Not so much recently as I'm slowly learning what I can / can't have.

4 stone later & people are telling me I look too thin. Most have never seen me thin so I listen & file it under 13.

Good luck with it. Don't give up, it's well worth the hard work.

The lady next door gave me some sort of spicy curried vegetable thing, and three round dinner rolls.

I hadn't got round to thinking dinner so I just had that: only ate half the bread and all the curry, of which there was not much more than a couple of mouthfuls (which I think was marrow or something equally barely discernible but digestible), except there was a fuck-tonne of chilli in it

Laughing What bread I did eat was mostly only to stop my mouth from burning Laughing

You've got a really peculiar palate (from an ex pro chef terms) and I would hate to deal with your dietary desires on a daily basis...babe lol Very Happy Cool Wink

I prefer to think of it as eclectic.
There are some things I don't eat (e.g. oysters, insects, monkey brains Laughing ) but for the most part, I enjoy eating (and it shows).

I wouldn't say I had difficult dietary desires. An "ex pro chef"* would have no trouble as I generally eat what's available, what I like the look of, or what's put in front of me.

When I was a kid, we had an ex-Navy chef living with us (a Maori guy) who had left the Navy well-trained and turned professional and for a time was the head chef at Government House, cooked for the Queen on one of her visits (my mother still has the recipes in her tattered old recipe book) - and after that he went to run a fancy gentlemen's club in Wellington next to the parliamentary building. So its mainly down to him that I developed a broad interest in food. I used to steal his copies of Gourmet magazine (American) and read them cover to cover.

I've noticed that the reverse is usually true of most men that find their way into my life (apart from the Italian ex-husb who was a better cook than I was). Most men aren't very brave and prefer plain/traditional food and get frustrated when I try to give them stuff they can't cope with. Some of them come round and out of politeness attempt to eat some fancy shite I have made up out of my head (I rarely follow recipes unless I've never attempted it before), discovering they quite like it after all. A chap who popped into my house last week, interrupted me whilst I was making a banana loaf. Although it smelt good straight out of the oven, he turned his nose up, as (with and without butter) he said "Well I suppose it tastes a bit like bread pudding...") Rolling Eyes Fucking pleb Laughing

*So you're Auguste Escoffier .... that don't impress me much* Laughing

Two sausage rolls with tomato ketchup.

I went to make porridge but the milk (which didn't smell "off" but tasted funny in my coffee) curdled whilst I attempted to make the porridge, so I threw it all out and went to the shop for milk, got sidetracked by the hot sausage roll counter on the way in Rolling Eyes

Made a 2 ingredient chocolate cheesecake.

This dieting malarkey has right turned me into a half assed Ainsley Harriet.
