yeah i am sure it not chain lube cos there is 2much there at times but it might b excess not sure but i think the seal has gone  ____________________ bandit 600 honest i dont brake the speedlimit I just dont stick 2 it |

katana has prob got it right , its prob the seal behind the drive sprocket , which will heat up and expand (seal the gap ) as the bike gets warm , and will contract (expose the gap ) as engine cools .. not a big job , just be carefull as katana says , not to damage the new seal putting it in ..
