Hi

That is an NS125R, although it could be an NS125F that has been fitted with a fairing (looks like a fibreglass fairing, and I think you could get kits to fit the R fairing to the F model bikes). The wheels are black and I think both the colours of NS125R that were officially imported had white wheels (not sure).

All the best

Keith

Cheers. The cluster also says NS125R?!

It's an '88 model and looks exactly like it does in the pics! well kept for the last few years anyway. 12 months MOT/TAX, 2 new tyres, mechanically fine. Micron exhaust. £625 ... is it worth it.

I picked the bike up tonight and my dad with his full bike license rode it back 105miles, no problem at all.

I'm happy with it so far! can't wait until i can ride it myself. Very Happy

Got my CBT yesterday and so got my insurance today! Was out on my wee NS for the first time. Really easy to get used to and surprisingly quite comfortable Very Happy

Was trying the clutchless gear changes when "gunning" it and it works a damn treat!.. i'll definitely be using it in the future. Wink

Managed to get 85mph out of the thing with a few thousand revs to spare. I take it it's deretricted then?..

Another thing. At lower revs it sort of hesitates but if i dip the clutch a tad and let the revs climb to 7k or so and let the clutch back out it's generally not bad. Any ideas on what the problem is, or do the older NS's do that?

Love it anyway! Twisted Evil

Thinking sound's like what mine's doing at the moment.
Is it hesitating about 5K ?
Mine has been doing that since i rebuilt the top of the engine.
I'll like to know whats causing that as well . Thumbs Up

Hi

Any fairly highly tuned 2 stroke without a power valve is going to have little low down power and then come in with a bit of a bang at high revs. Not sure from your description if what you are suffering from is normal!

All the best

good stuff! it looks nice mate. practically the same as mine except a different colour scheme! Thumbs Up

good condition, too!

i'm not worried about my back pegs but one of my front ones is goosed. The rubber seperated from the peg itself. Hopefully on friday i'll take a trip upto M&P to get a few things...

Foot peg (if they do them)
Clutch lever (broken)
Accelerator cable (throttle not springing back)
New front indicators?.. (mine are poxy little car ones which are useless as no oncoming traffic can see them Sad )

That's about it really! Very Happy

Hi,
I just bought a NS125R. Beginning to think I bought a bit of a turkey. Mechanically it is fine but the fairing is Fibre glass. I didn't know it was meant to be plastic. (any one know where I can buy a new one?) The PROBLEM is with my WINDSHIELD. It is not an original but is a black one. When I turn full tilt the Left handlebar with the Horn etc knocks in to it and bends it. As a result I have had to sand and sand so it does not do this. Does any one else have this problem? Oh I paid £700 in case any was wondering. Ripped off? please tell me

Does anyone know if there are any fairings form other bike which would fit my NS125 R as the fibre glass one is heavy, fragile and ugly. Heres a photo of my bike. Not as nice as the other ones you lot have got but hey.....
