How many miles?

Following from the "Most you've ever spent on a bike" thread, lets see who has the highest mileage bike. (NB. not how many miles have you done on it.)

Mine won't be anywhere near but Fazer 1999 600, 10K miles.

lol how do people who own bikes as their only transport end up only doin 3k when they sekll them then? ive seen 01 rs's fo sale thats only done a claimed 5k? owned by a 17yr old goin to collage everyday???

do i just do too many miles then you thin? ive done 6 k since i started in sept/oct thats mainly goin collage ect. is that classed as a high milage would you say. (first year on a bike an i aint really got a clue bout milage)

I would hazzard a guess that the average bike only gets 3000-4000 (or so) miles a year put on it.

I did say average - plenty of people do more than that, in the same way that some people only get their bikes out in summer months, and only then if it's completely dry.

Hmm, got my er5 with 9.8k on the clocks in november, and now its got 14k on the clocks. If I was keeping it until next november it would be most likely tapping on 20k.

I know of a couple of pan europeans that have been around the clock (e.g. 100k +)

Although they are police bikes.

The GPZ has 12,000 miles on it, 5,000 of which are mine since buying it in September.

My previous bike had 33,000 miles on it when I sold it, I bought it with 21,000 on it 2 years previous though.

My speedfight had 1500KM's when I bought it

My SR125 had like 7000 miles perhaps less i cannot remember.

My ER-5 had 7500 miles on it and now has nearly 12K on it since mid december.

Well I can't beat Kickstart, but I have done 45k on my VFR and it has done 50k.

When it gets back from repair I fully intend to get it past 100k, crashes permitting.

Also was that VFR like trigger's broom? If so I'm slightly less impressed, if not...TOP MARKS!
