Greetings All

My name is Miss Demeanour and I'm a bike-aholic..........

I'm new here and new and new to the biking world! I've always wanted to ride a bike, so 4 weeks ago I took the plunge and started taking lessons!!

So far, I've had 6hours and one pretty bad fall, but I'm tenacious and refuse to give up!!

Hope I'm welcome here Rolling Eyes

and hopefully I'll soon pass my CBT and get on a bike!!

Any bike will do me nicely!!

When I say I'm a bike-aholic, I mean I admire bikes when I see them, but sadly haven't the foggiest when it comes to the mechanics of bikes Embarassed

But that wont stop me. Hopefully, I'll pass my CBT before the good weather passes!

The cbt is pretty much there to make sure you dont kill yourself or anyone else Very Happy

its not easy for anyone when they first get on the road so dont worry about it...

Is a mate teching you are are you haveing propper lessons?

Invest in some good gear, get yourself runing bike, and enjoy Thumbs Up

Hello All

I'm having lessons with a qualified instructor. He calls them pre-CBT. Not sure when I'll be ready for CBT as I'm only just managing to balance (can't ride a push bike!), and get the hang of the controls.

Good luck with the cbt. Takes some people longer than others to get familiar with a bike.
