Engine problem HELP!!!!!!

just need a little info.

I was on my Aprilia RS 125 when it started loosing power and then stopped running with a little back fire from the exhaust.

Its now lost all compression and can be pushed when in gear.

The bike did have a new piston kit in it and had only done about 30 miles before it decided to stop running.

I wasn't hammering the bike or anything, i was takeing it easy (as you do with a new piston)

Im now going to sell the bike as a non runner what should i tell people who come to look at the bike??? i should imagine the gearbox and cluth etc. are still perfect.

Its a 2000 model RS

whats the damage that has happened and how much rougly to fix it?

sounds like what just happened to my 99rs, most probly nipped a ring

if this is the case you could be lucky! if the piston has done no damage to barrel its gonna b £90 for piston, if not new top end from PJ engineering £230ish!

Pull it apart and see what the problem is.

If you blew it up within 30 miles of rebuild my money's on you cocking up the rebuild.

Make sure the plug is screwed in tight first though.
