 |
|
I bought a paddock stand from a place in Rotherham about a month or two back. IIRC it was £16.99, Bargain I thought.
I'll be making a trip back down there soon to return it as the damn thing collapsed yesterday.
Luckily I have the reflexes of a well oiled puma and managed to dash over and grab the bike before it came tumbling down. I was not in a good mood
I though maybe it the way I fitted it, so I tried again and the damn thing bent under the weight. It should easily be able to hold a sports 600.
Ill try and get a pic up later today so you know what type im on about. |

That could of been an expensive paddock stand if you didn't catch the bike. ____________________ Current bikes: 1960 Triumph 5ta x2, TTR600RE, KTM200EXC, Cagiva Elephant 900ie. |

A square/ rectangular section paddock stand should be a fair deal stronger than a circular one, but they're obviously correspondingly more expensive. Alternatively, a bit of triangulation wouldn't go amiss.

£50 for front and £60 for rear however. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

I've had a Gixxer 750 on one of those no probs, but my ZXR4 fell off it, swingarm doesn't like them. Just use it for my brothers NSR now. Gonna get a Micron stand for the ZXR though. |

Just wait until someone you know has no bikes that fit a micron stand so they sell it cheap. They then buy a bike and need a paddock stand but were to stpuid to think about it when they sold it.
