yes you can buy bleed valves easily, juts go to your usual bike dealer and they should sort it outt no problem, getting it out can be tricky, a friend took his to a very good welding person who managed to weld a tiny rod onto the broken bleed valve and remove by unscrewing. i would advise against drilling, but thats upto you

Yes you can buy new bleed valves but they vary in sizes and your local dealer can get them for you, except you'll pay a few pounds for just one !

thinking if I sharpen one of me screwdrivers and give that a few whacks with the hammer on it it'll either break up or it'll go in and I can unscrew it with the screwdriver then.

leave the old 1 in, This happened to me on my RD and you can actually buy a giant bleed nipple that replaces the bolt that holds the pipe to the caliper, i paid £15 for mine from a shop that blatently overcharges so you should get 1 for £10 anywhere else

unfortunatly i dont know what there called, and can't find any reference to them on the web Shocked

i got mine from steves spares (hull) 01482 442115 just ring him and tell him that your bleed nipple has snapped and you need the alternative 1 that replaces the pipe clamp bolt,

i believe he calls them "second chance bleed nipples" or something like that anyway

that sounds like just what I need, even tried and impact screwdriver which you whack with a hammer and it turns but that didn't work.

it goes from one pipe/connector thingy from the master cylinder and seperates into 2 hoses. Can I do what you said bish777?
