Jon I am sure everyone would be happy to help. The reason your bike is only going 60 is probably due to the fact it is still restricted. It will most likely have a restriction in the intake (a metal plate reducing the air flow) a narrowing pipe in the exhaust and probably a CDI restriction.
If you need more advice just shout, I know a lot of people can go into a lot more detail than me

Depends on how they restrict their bikes in Germany.
Not knowing anything about bikes/not owning a bike in mind... Can you reach the redline? Is there a throttle restricter?
Think 60 would be a sensible figure for a restricted NSR, cant think why a learner would want to go much faster than that either! |

Actually thats a good point. Mine does 80 indicated and it is still restricted (had a go at getting the intake plates out one day but they had these un-doable nuts on them so left it). I imagine it would still be restricted in the exhaust too as thats what the seller said. So yea you should be getting more than 60 out of it. You giving it a good ragging or not? ____________________ My NSR --> https://members.boards.ie/instinct/Diagonal.jpg

well i cant redline it... i get it to 9000 rpm and then thats it... it will NOT go past 60 mph, 5th gear is the only way. and then in 6th, speed decreases.
Their must be a throttle restrictor things |
