as its a four stroke it can,t be de-resistrited, so 35mph is all it will do.

most two-stroke 50cc scooters can just manage 45mph, theres no way a non highly tunned 50cc four-stroke will.

that engine your bike is fitted with is the same on the regal raptor 50 which a freind of mine had the most that would do was 28mph. so on a lighter bike like yours 30-35mph is quite good.

Sachs are supposed to be making a bore kit for them at some point. I think they look pretty cool.

Thumbs Up Good stuff! Mr. Green

Those things look like great fun, like a pit bike only in a bicycle Y-frame. Laughing The swinger looks worrying, but the rest looks great. No doubt it'll get plenty of attention, so make sure she's secure.

What is the insurance costing?

Ok, tips.

Arrow Buy kitaco ultra high lift racing camshaft,

Arrow 88cc bore up kit, get the high compression piston kit.

Arrow Ss50 cylinder head, and an oil cooler,

Arrow 20mm carb, and a filter.

Should just about double your speed.

Oh, and a noisy pipe. Mr. Green

lol Very Happy that sounds great but there is a problem : in my country ( Belgium ) a 16 year old as myself can only drive 50 cc bikes with a topspeed of 30 mph Sad so anything more would get taken off by the police so i think derestricting it and maybe a bigger "tandwiel" ( sorry don't know the word in english ) but nothing more Smile

tnx for all the positive reactions btw

I used a translator and it came out as "tooth wheel" so I'm guessing you mean a sprocket. Razz

Very true about the laws in Belgium though. Police are very strict from what I've heard. I have a mate in Belgium who got heavily fined for riding a Derbi Senda with a race exhaust, the bike was confiscated for a few weeks and he got an official warning & those fines on top. They'll pull any 50cc which they even think will be de-restricted so heavy tuning wont be too wise. Look on the bright side, at least you dont need a license plate or anything on the back of your mopeds. Razz

A louder exhaust pipe is a definite must though! Mr. Green

Looks like a mountain bike with an engine. Neutral I'm not keen on it, but it could be fun to ride.

O and seriously really don't bother sticking a loud exhaust on it. Embarassed

Have fun on the new bike. Thumbs Up

Nice bike.

Really like the way they look.

I think I prefer the 500 version though, but its not out yet.

wow, looks well fun! Thumbs Up

That 500 version looks very cool, too...

Bit of a pain that you can't derestrict it yet, if your police are that strict... As soon as I borrowed a derizzled 50 for a little while, I couldn't go back to doing 30mph! Still, better to go slow for a year and keep the bike, I suppose Smile

Cheers,
Jon
