i need a bit of help! i just rang someone about a new bike a need some advise. its a rs125 01 with around 5000miles on it. i have a replacement piston and comes with a 12month MOT. what i would like advise on is when my dad rang (he was first to the fone as he called back) when he asked about the condition of the bike he said "it runs quite well and has been dropped once" should i be worried about this as my dad said he said quite well a lot about the bike. maybe thats just what he says. please could you give me advise as im sure a lot of you had more experience than i have in buying a bike!!

any comments would be great.

Check the seller as much as the bike. When they start it do they immediatly rev the nuts off it.

A 125 being dropped is not unusual.

Check the documents. If you are seriously interested then HPI check it.

All the best

Keith

Not really. RS is in a high state of tune. Damn big ports. I change the rings on mine at 6000km, and think of changing the piston every other set of rings (so 6000 miles).

All the best
