Sorry, it's probably obvious and easy, but i have an Aprilia RS 125 and i have just taken everything out (bettery etc) so i can finally get to my power valve to clean it. That's where i got stuck. I have no idea how, lol. Also how am i supposed to disconnect the actual valve from the bike?

Cheers!!

When i did mine ages ago, it wouldnt come out at first, so i just went for a ride and let it warm up. After this, it came out with a bit of a wiggle.

just use oven cleaner and a cloth to clean it, and WD40 it up, and clean the hole, making sure nothing gets in there...

Just get off any bits of carbon (black hard stuff). the blade should be smooth and a golden/bronze colour.

Before you put it back in, coat it in WD40 or maybe a bit of 2t oil to keep it in good health for abit longer Thumbs Up

thats the bit u need to clean. its just above the exhaust port on the side of the cylinder.undo the screws on the housing, and disconnect the cable (clips into the underside of the shaft). then wiggle out the blade.

i think i know what the problem is, just dont know how to sort it. basically if you look in the pic with the numbers, the silver bit just to the right hand side of number 4 is in the slot just on the left of number 4, and it wont move out, i cant seem to pull it out at all.
