Last night i had one of the funniest experiences on my bike yet.

Im on a dual carrigeway and i pull up at the lights next to a chav and his gf in a corsa.[body kit etc]
Put the bike in neutral.

Chav girl says"Can we race yor bike"

Me "Are you joking?"

Chav girl"we will race you"

Me "You can try as hard as you like but it aint guna happen"

Me "seriously are you joking"

Chav boy revs his corsa and spits on the floor next to my bike.

Lights go green he spins it round the roundabout and goes for it.

I put the bike in gear and go and red line first of course at his gfs side in to second and look in my mirrors to see a dot in the distance.

Blimey, I'd've done 'im on my trusty SR125. (Or should I say rusty!!)

You should've let him catch up at the next lights, gone round the near side and chatted up his bird just to rub his nose in it a bit more!

Off the line pretty much any bike would beat a < 1.6l car.

Including 125s. Might take some violent use of the clutch, but it'd do it.

When you start trying it against 600s it just gets embarassing.

When you get a bigger bike you start trying against bigger things. I have been known to follow ferraris until I find traffic lights.

Thought I was going to get a run with a Ferrari today. We both left the main carriageway, over the little hump bridge onto the country roads. He could obviously see me in his mirrors and decided to give it some, so I went with no problem, closed the gap enough to just let him know he's going no where, then we get stuck behind a tractor. Bugger. Tractor finally turns off at a junction get ready to go again and the fecker pulls in a the local nobs pub. Should have know it really.

The pub is on a quite narrow country road junction and they all have to try and park outside the front of it so they can sit near their cars and pose. No parking in the car park, they like to stick the things right out front causing a major hazard at the junction. There they all are, sometimes Ferraris, Lambo's, Porches, Range Rovers stuck out on the road, half the time double parked on both sides of the road rather than sticking them in the car park. It's amazing, if I had one I'd rather park it safely out of the way where it's unlikely to get smashed or get someone killed.

I have a dream of a lottery win and a huge old truck. "Sorry boys, but they were all illegally parked". Then I'd drive off down the road shedding the remnants of exotic Italian machinery.

Oh dear, insert bikes instead of cars and that still rings true ! Wink

Fun as it maybe racing a Corsa, this sort of thing is best avoided as it can get out of hand - OK we've all done something like it, but if that car had been nicked he might've thought it 'fun' to nudge you over at the next lights Rolling Eyes

I was driving back from North Wales a few weeks ago on the A470, which is a long, twisty road with an excellent surface. I was actually held-up from doing a decent speed by a bloke in a Ferrari. It was pathetic. I usually do 80-90 MPH in the van, a Fiat Doblo and it's good fun, but to be held up by a ferrari is just plain wrong. Rolling Eyes

I've never seen a police car on the A470 all the way to Brecon from Colwyn Bay, I've probably done that run about 20 times in the last 2 months. I know it's dodgy, but it's damn good fun. I was willing to take the risk, besides, I'm not doing that anymore as I've left that job. Too many hours. Rolling Eyes

Was funny last night, mates were filming some wheelies on a dually, so im creeping along in first waiting to get up to them without killing the engine, anyhew, pretty close when some chavved car (pretty quick as it happened) comes roaring up behind me and goes for the overtake. Bang up on the back, up to second mid landing, and it disappeared.

I was informed it was a fiat lupo*, and it stuck with me while i was on one wheel, then i pulled away. This informs me, when showign up chavs, do it with both wheels on't floor Wink

Most funny thing that happened last night though, is this dually has a cycle path next to it. And Im creeping along in first, then bang up on the back wheel pretty high, loud and fast. See out of the corner of my eye some kid watching me on his bike, then his mate canes into the side of him Laughing Were still lying on their side when i cam back the other way.

*Edit: Note NOT standard

That's a beautiful mental image there. Very Happy No need for a lottery win, trucks and landrovers etc can be got for not too much money. Having said that, the lottery might be useful for the diesel, tax and all the rest that the Treasury grasp away.

Volkswagen Lupo?

no such thing as a fiat mate.

Here is one for you.

I saw a young lad (just 16) that lives in my village had just got a scooter (50cc malaguti firefox) and he is outside Tesco with his chavvy 14yr old mates who were obviously really impressed with his bashed up scooter.

He was wearing proper scooter protective clothing (helmet and addidas trousers and nike teeshirt! no gloves)

I smirked at him and his mates as I went in to get some shopping, when I come out he rides upto me and says "want a race?"

First of all I thought...This could be extreemly funny to watch me completly hammer him

So he asked me how many CC my bike was and I said "125 mate" But then said...

He was then up for a race.

Then I REALLY thought about it and decided that he might hurt himself trying to escape me in vein so came clean and told him its a 500cc and when I started it up he scarpered as he realised he would have no chance at all.

But when i inevitably see him again I will probably buzz the little fucker! Twisted Evil

So Collins considers chavs living off state benefits as "working class" now ? So what does that make those of us that actually do work and pay stupid amounts of taxes... "sucker class" ?

Answers on a postcard please.

or on this forum if you really must
