Joining the M6 this morning, the aformentioned skidmark in humanity's underpants spotted a gap in Lane 1 - that I was joining off the sliproad - and tried slotting her car from Lane 2 into the space now occupied by me.

Sounding my horn didn't divert her attention from her oh-so-important phone call (hands-free).

2 hefty kicks and the resulting toe-slider-shaped dents in her nearside door panels did though...

Dunno. I went round the back of her[1] and went filtering down Lane 2a to work.

If later questioned, then "her manoeuvre was so sudden and dangerous that I was forced to put my leg out in order to regain and keep my balance", and "well of course it's dented officer - she drove her car into me, what did she expect would happen?"

[1]An obvious ploy to not reveal my reg number.
