I was reading on an earlier post about camera mounts for bikes. The majority of mounts in this country are crap! Have any of you had the missfortune of buying the "Oxford Tank Cam" lol, Its rubbish. I personally use my camera with these mounts. both of which bolt on to the bike. One less thing to worry about whilst going at speed (not that I do)

I've got a sportbikecam mount, and its OK but it takes rather boring footage!
Its very sturdy but also very noticeable and not amazingly adjustable. I'd feel happy to go scratching with a grands worth of camera attached, but I would like some better camera angles!
Definitely better than one of those motrax suction cup jobbies! ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

I find the helmet cam the most interesting kind of videos to watch as you see the rider move around and how he works the bike and esp when the front wheel lifts.looks sweet.
Only trouble is the noise.....all wind and also i have to duck tape the bullet cam on me' lid.Which makes me look a total cock.
so have the digi player in me bag with the bullet cam plugged into it.
soz no pics.
I find its amazing quality and much more interesting than tank cam action as you can see the riders every move. |

Wasn't sure weather to post this in a new topic or here, and I figure it's better to post in an existing thread and all..
Basically, several times I've been out, and something's happened where I thought "I wish I had that on film" or something similar, espically my recent crash, where I have no idea what happened.
Anyway, where's a good place to find a suitable camera for attaching a bullet camera to? I'd also prefer a style of recording where I can rewrite over the existing data (so I think I don't want tape) incase nothing happens on my ride out.
Thanks alot in advance, and if it's best it gets it's own thread, let me know and I'll move it. ____________________ TheShaggyDA: I've got 3 or 4 pairs that predate my wife, so at least 11.5 years old. |
