there are real crimes being commited out there that are a real threat to community. (i know 80 in a 30 zone is dangerous, but these idiots normally camp out in 60 zones that are no threat to anyone) they are generating yet more money on top of taxes to fund there doghnut eating idiocy.

just my rather annoyed opinion.

Can someone please tell me what the point of speeding in a 50 is?

I'm all up for a bit of fun down a country lane when the road/conditions apply, that's one of the best things about biking right? I also have found myself creeping a few mph over the limit, but nothing extreme (I don't ride with my eyes constantly on the speedo)

But, even if his comment is to be believed, what's the point of doing over double the limit in a 50?

Yesterday I was visiting a dealer (bike dealer, not drug dealer haha) on an industrial estate. I wasnt hairing around , but as I came around a corner a nice lady gave me the 'slow down' arm signal. 100 yards further on was a police van/camera team actually hiding behind a hedge. I was fuming, theres nothing there ! No school, no pedestrians

- Fucking pigs bastards.

ok thats a bit harsh - but its a fucking disgrace.

Fair enough in built up areas, around schools etc... but on a deserted industrial estate??

By the way, if anyones doing 120 in a 50 zone they are dangerous arseholes who make life more difficult for the rest of us.

Twat.

I saw a bike copper in black standing next to his bike with a small hand held sized camera on a tripod. It was late on a sunday night and at the bottom of a hill. I couldn't see his high-vis markers on his bike as he was standing in front of it and it was arse end towards the traffic.

A little too covert formy liking. especially as that road regularly sees speeds of 90+. But I guess that's the point... Wink

not really. they are generating money, not solving crimes or making the road safer. which is what our taxes are supposed to pay for!

Doing 120 in a 50 zone is not beyond the realms of possibility, its not even that far-fetched. Its just stupid.
