clean it up with a wire brush/wire brush drill bit and take it to a local garage or engineering company and they might weld it up for a pack of beers. ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV |

Looks very thin though, it may be too thin to weld and if there is lots of rust internally it may fall to peices. Might be worth having a back up plan of a new pipe just in case. ____________________ Andy Sez....

Cheer's for the replys.
No, i cant afford a new pipe for it. Have looked on the net and its £155 (IIRC) for a new FMF front pipe, and an extra £50 for the silencer.
Can't afford that atm, as im not working now.
Gonna take it to one of my dads mates that runs a garage near me, see if he'll weld it up for me.
If it goes again then then it goes, i'll look for a 2nd hand pipe for it, not seen many kx 60's around here though.. |

Hey, i just fixed the exhaust for my lil 50cc pot pot bike today, the entire back box had split from the pipe section, so i bodged it up, used some exhaust putty to fill the crack run the engine to allow it to heat, then use hammerite or another heat proof paint to cover the putty.
My lil 50 runs sweet now i sorted that ____________________ Previously; Honda XR125 - Yamaha DT125r - Aprilia Rs125 - Suzuki GS500e, Currently; Kawasaki ZX6R + ZX10R
