Definetley helps. Seems to provide that element of danger that they tend to like.

the chances of a girl knowing the difference between a zxr400 and 1000cc bike are slim

but your zxr400 is gonna be faster than most cars she will have heard of

https://www.totalmotorcycle.com/downloads/carmotorcycleperformancecharts1.htm

zxr400 can do a quarter mile in 12.9secs

a 1997 porsche 911 can do it in 13secs

Ferrari F355 13secs

she might not have heard of a 911 or a F355 but she will have heard of a porsche or a ferrari

No generalisations there then colin Laughing

Not sure about 'pulling weapon' but stick a fat ugly bird on a nice bike and blokes at least give a passing glance now and then.

I did have a (presumably tipsy) girl flash her norks at me round the back of Stockley Park a few weeks ago though. Either she was a lesbian or presumed I was a bloke. Razz

Not a pulling tool but girls often like to come on the back, always scared but they always enjoy it!

ive never said ive got a bike and just wait for them to snog me but sumtimes it falls into convosation and girls like it, shows that your not a sensible person (ie get a car, the sensible thing to do when your 17 and use you transport all year 25 miles each way) it does help....i would still pull plenty off girls without it though!! Very Happy

i like the idea of girls on bikes.

this is an example of sods law.

a girl flashes her tits at a biker but sods law makes sure that this is not a male biker who could have got some enjoyment from this moment.

Mind you a male bike may have lost concentration at this point and come off so maybe its not all bad.

Now i just need to look up stockley park on google maps and see how long it wd take me to get there.

as for generalising, i used to work in an office with a female former racing driver but generally girls pick there car by its colour. if my generalisation was incorrect we wd have more girls driving fast cars and bikes but we dont so i am right. exceptions to the rule do not disprove any generalisations

Have you looked at some of the figures on that site? It has the honda hornet as being five places above a ZX6R Ninja. Having ridden both Id have to doubt that.

Anyway... back on topic. I was a bit of an arsehole yesterday and went out on the steed in a pair of jeans and a T-Shirt, may the lord strike me down. I pulled up next to some birds in a ford Ka and got some cheeky smiles and even a little wink off one of them. Im sure that wouldnt have happened if I had pulled up if I turned up in my Seat Arosa 1.0!

Shorter gearing? The terminal speed of the Hornet is lower, yet the time is quicker.[/quote]

I was going to say don't be so purile, lasting relationships don't happen with women that fancy you because of your bike...

Then I thought... Hold on, I started going out with my ex after she rode pillion on my VFR...

And my current girlfriend started fancying me after my SV650 fell over when she tried to get on the pillion seat...

Go figure! Smile

(weapon is such a poor choice of words...)

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

If it's real-world times, the Hornet rider might have been better at launching than the Ninja rider. Or the conditions might have been better.

I once beat a ZX6R on my CB500 at Santa Pod - it was freezing cold and it was easier to get 50bhp down than 100bhp. Equally, I've been clobbered on my 6 by a 400 who made a far better start than I did. Smile

At 6000rpm the bike must be producing a frequency equal to that of the resonant frequency of the female clitoris. Laughing

Does it count as a 'pull' if you go dogging?

Hmm, can't say I've honestly thought about it. Great being in twon on the bike, with a dark visor on, admiring all of the glamorous girls, but never bothered to think of what others think.

I'm too busy riding. Thumbs Up To be perfectly honest, when I'm on the bike, I want to go on the bike, ride somewhere, not try and impress girls. Of course, some people are just born with good looks and charm to woo the ladies.

Cool

Wish I was one of them.
