Just read about these in Bike magazine. www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk

I'm not using them at the moment I'd just renewed with someone else before I saw them. Thought someone might be interested.

They offer a pay as you go type policy. You can alter the policy as you go throughout the year too, if you take out FC you can change to TPFT or FT over winter if you don't use the bike. You can have add up to four bikes and riders, you can even add a mates bike for a ride, etc.

Just done a quick quote, is about £90 more than I pay with Bennetts at the moment, but the excess is low.
Might have a closer look next year when it's due.

I also renewed with them about 6 weeks ago, I have already done a policy alteration. There were loads cheaper, gives cover to ride other bikes, open 27/4 so they are great. Thumbs Up

I got my ZXR400 insured with them for less than £700. That was including my theft claim and telling them that it has a race-can and different paint job etc., so I was very impressed with them to be honest, considering most other companies I tried wanted over £1000

Quoted me over a grand more than I currently pay with Motorbike Direct, not too impressed. Wink

What did you get quoted on an R6? I'm 19, 2 years NCB, and for my Triumph Daytona 600 I got quoted 1,300 quid, TPO! I live in a 'low risk' area too!

Been quoted £300 from Motorcycle Direct. £600 TPFT.

I've got my new bike registered with them.

I can get both a Bandit 600 and a sv650s on tpft for £250. (No NCB, less than 1 year full licence)

They are cheap but absolutely no use to me. Sad

I haven't got a garage=no quote

They do not do Q plates

I can't have Mrs Robin on the policy for my small bike because she hasn't had her licence for 2 years.

Thumbs Down

This is on the classic policy though, I might go back and try putting my 2 bikes through a quote for standard policy.

They wouldn't quote me for my Bandit.

That's better, Standard policy (on 2 classic bikes Confused ) works out at £174 for two riders on two bikes.

Still would work out cheaper if I went with them for the GT750 (£86pa), and continued with the little bike on it's classic policy that I now have.

Very Happy They're not interested in medical crap, only if you've told the DVLA. About half the price I've been quoted anywhere else. Very Happy

yup.. I are the winner!! (and I also got an RSV Factory sat in my garage Double Winner!)

got the Meta fitted by the dealer.. he charged me £200 as I was buying the bike from there...

think normal retail is around £250-£275... but shop around, and if your getting a bike from a dealer.. ask him for a discount....

£849.45 for the SV. Better than most but not as good as the £520 I'm paying. Lower excess though.

Apparently, having £500's worth of security equipment attached to my bike will only lower the premium by £50. Confused It's the lowest quote I have received So far for TPFT, but the most expensive for TPO.

To be honest mate, I wouldn't even contemplate just TPO now. It really is worth spending the extra money to get either TPFT or fully comp.

Yeah, I know TPO is stupid. I'll start ringing around for quotes soon though.
