does everyone do this? stand next to the bike, grab the other side, front n rear, lean the bike towards you and lift it off it's wheels onto the stand so you can spin it round?
i suppose it can't be good for the stand, but i haven't broken one yet
I did it today outside a honda dealer where a girl who was obviously a newbie collecting her first bike stood amazed, her jaw almost hit the floor ____________________ "There are some things nobody needs in this world, and a bright-red, hunch-back, warp-speed 900cc cafe racer is one of them - but I want one anyway, and on some days I actually believe I need one. I do this all the time, get some stunned looks in the middle of a packed shopping highstreet as I spun the R6 around 180 degrees
Got more inventive ways of shifting the KTM around though ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

so you could help me, yes? why you are kind
it would probably just land back on it's wheels, leaned against my body, so it'd be ok, until i wanted to park it ____________________ "There are some things nobody needs in this world, and a bright-red, hunch-back, warp-speed 900cc cafe racer is one of them - but I want one anyway, and on some days I actually believe I need one. i do it all the time as im to lazy to put my bike in the shed backwards,
(as soon as i come out of my garage i have to push it up a hill)
so i spin it round, no problems, its fairly light.

I've never heard or seen people doing this before, gotta try it now I'll weld a brace down the sidestand it if my bike's not too heavy to do it with , sounds well handy especially since my bike is kept in the tightest most awkward space imaginable. ____________________ -=[Sam/b]=- cx500's the only way to travel, we do it in style just like jimmy saville

tried mine, ain't easy is it the front end is very heavy and I have to yank it back to do it. Think i'll have to put weights in the side boxes to balance it.
Was thinking you could mount a roller skate wheel to the sidestand to make it easier. ____________________ -=[Sam/b]=- cx500's the only way to travel, we do it in style just like jimmy saville

I just grab my left handlebar and the rear grab rail and walk it around. Takes more space to do it that way but I only do it to get the ass end of the bike off the road when I'm parking it somewhere. ____________________ Current bike: VTR1000F Firestorm.
