 |
|
Hi all.
Does anyone out there have tips on cleaning the inside of your leathers?
After some frequent summer use, one tends to sweat a lot in your leathers that builds up and your leathers start to smell.
I got a few quotes from dry-cleaners that vary from £70+ for a full suit. This is obviously not very cheap and one's at risk that the colouring may fade and I've heard that the leathers can shrink about 3% after dry cleaning.
This is a bit worrying if you have to clean your £700 A-stars.
I would appreciate it if someone could comment on this or if you had your leathers dry-cleaned successfully before, please list by whom.
Thanks...

I tend to wear thin base-layer type clothing under my leathers, like Helly-hanson Lifa stuff.. is much more comfy than wearing the leathers next to the skin, doens't make them much warmer, and are more easily washed than leathers.

I don't know tips for cleaning the lining mate, but I can confirm that wearing trackies and a t-shirt under the leathers makes keeping them fresh so much easier. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/nsrandy/96rs250/ My Bike!
