Hi all.

Does anyone out there have tips on cleaning the inside of your leathers? Thinking
After some frequent summer use, one tends to sweat a lot in your leathers that builds up and your leathers start to smell. Sick
I got a few quotes from dry-cleaners that vary from £70+ for a full suit. This is obviously not very cheap and one's at risk that the colouring may fade and I've heard that the leathers can shrink about 3% after dry cleaning.
This is a bit worrying if you have to clean your £700 A-stars. Confused

I would appreciate it if someone could comment on this or if you had your leathers dry-cleaned successfully before, please list by whom.

Thanks...
Johan Hand

I tend to wear thin base-layer type clothing under my leathers, like Helly-hanson Lifa stuff.. is much more comfy than wearing the leathers next to the skin, doens't make them much warmer, and are more easily washed than leathers.

I don't know tips for cleaning the lining mate, but I can confirm that wearing trackies and a t-shirt under the leathers makes keeping them fresh so much easier. Thumbs Up

I think you need to have words with the person that sold you your leathers if you can fit trackie bottoms underneath em!

What Feef said. That, and buy leathers that have a removable lining, then you can just pull 'em out and stick 'em in the wash Thumbs Up Never let it be said that I'm not helpful Wink
