ive just come back from newquey as i went with some friends for 5 days, the day before i went i went up to boxhill with davo and White Noise and did lots of miles on the bike by the end of the day, the thing is though even thought id done lots of mile before going away i missed riding so much and sometimes would drift into daydream about how it would be so good to have a bike there.

everytime a nice bike go past i would just want to ride!

well i thought i would ask you all if its just me or if anyone else misses their bike while on holidays/business. well im off for a nice long ride now! Very Happy Thumbs Up

Newquay is a nice place to take a bike, bet that made you miss it even more!

The coastal road past watergate bay is fun, great twisties..

I only realised how much I enjoyed riding about on my ped when it got taken away for repairs for a week or two. Got so desperate for a replacement I blagged one off the dealership Laughing

When we drove through france as a family in july, the abundance of beautiful roads and different scenery made me wish i bought my bike along. Or even better, chuck my family out of the holiday altogether for a more relaxed atmosphere.

Yep.

Went away with my lady in the car for a couple of days this week. Got back and felt sorry for my bike. Chained up on the front of the house and not been ridden for 3 days.

Just had to go out and start her up tonight. Just to hear her 'buzz'. Will 'un-shackle' her tomorrow and take her for a proper ride again.

Gor blimey. Am I gettin' sad in my old age or what Rolling Eyes

Just got back from 2 weeks in Greece. Was having serious problems as everyone was riding supermotos there, and I was slavering over each one.

Going to USA this month, going to miss my bikes a lot, especially because I turn 17 just before I go so I doubt I'll get on the 125 before I go. I will be seeing nutters going around on bikes wearing no helmets. Remember this guy once, he flew past us on the Interstate 4, must have been doing a ton, he was on an R1, and had no bloody helmet on! Shocked. He was asking for it if you ask me.

All the time - if I'm not allowed to ride my own bike (even borrowing other people's isn't a source of relievement) I become a gibbering wreck, start sprouting out random motorcycling facts, sit shivering with cold sweats in the corner of rooms.....

The longest Ive been away from my bike was for 6 months, sat in brigade HQ in Kosovo, boiling to death.

The worst however was when my FZR 1000 went bang, and i was too poor to fix it. 6 weeks of bikelessness until I could scrape the money together for the GT550.

I've been without my bike for about 3 weeks now! Stuck in a garage somewhere waiting to be fixed!

Got a framed picture of it on my bedside table so I can see it whenever I want, but it's not the same Sad

Find myself on BCF all the time now!

Hi everyone, my name is shaun and I'm bikeless

I've been without a bike for 3 weeks now, I was fine at first, kept myself busy doing other things and avoided bikeyness stuff. Now over the past week the shaking has started, the making shhhkkk noises when going round corners in a car but I'm fine honest.
