 |
|
I've had my Gixxer 6 for just over a year now, it's the first 'big' bike i've ever had. But i'm going through an experimental stage now and I'm up for trying it something new. So bearing in mind i've never ridden another big bike, out of the following choices, what would you choose and why? Are there any you would go out of your way to avoid? If so, why?
R6
Kwak Ninja ZX-6R
Newer shape Gixxer 6

The new zx6 is very good and well recommended but the best way to judge them is to test ride them all as all the straight 4's are all very good, never ridden a duke so cant comment. |

None of the above.
If you want to try something new, go for a completely different style.
Try a supermoto, or a big trailie. Have a go on a big cruiser. Ride a lorry (sorry Goldwing!). Get a little 2-stroke race-replica that you can rev the life out of.
The possibilites are endless. Why go to what is essentially the same bike with a slightly more powerful engine?

Are they really that similar in riding style then, the sports 600s? I'm asking as I have no experience on any other sports bike.
Appreciate the advice babyyam, but I only really like the whole 'sports bike' thing, not really interested in supermoto's/cruisers tbh, but thank you anyway |

I prefer cruisers to road bikes, nothing stopping you selling it 2 months down the line if it's not your thing and getting another crotch rocket. Plenty cruisers out their that can also handle corners pretty well. ____________________ -=[Sam/b]=- cx500's the only way to travel, we do it in style just like jimmy saville

Definitely an option mate. My birthday's in November, so looking to treat myself then. Not the bet time of the year to be getting used to a new big bike though admittedly |
