I have a trailer.. well, picking it up next week anyway Confused

Basically, my mate who lives in Yorkshire is rebuilding my bike, I was trailering it up at the weekend but he rang me today to say he was down in Bristol on work so wanted to pop over to Portsmouth and pick up my engine to rebuild it.. when he got here we decided to just try and shove the whole bike in the car Laughing it went in fine after we stripped half of the stuff off Laughing Mr. Green

Normally it'd be a trailer job but it was just a spur of the moment, make do with what you got type of thing Laughing

It's harder in a more conventional car, as you have to lift everything over the lip of the boot. Do it with a 3door car, a steel framed bike, and an engine as well, and then i'll be impressed Smile

you can fit an NSR in a Xantia Estate, without taking anything off (except the battery and fuel tank for obvious reasons)

had to wire the boot lid shut, cos itdidn't Quite meet, but was good enough to deliver it Smile

I remember fitting my old 750 Bonneville hard tail chop in the back of my mates Cavalier hatchback (about 10 years ago) - all we did was take the forks of and man handle it in!

We did forget to drain the carbs and when we got home my mate was off his head on fumes Sick

I brought my 50 back from London when I bought it, in the trunk of the car. Focus estate. Razz

Didn't want to put the RD in though, so took a truck for that.
