I've heard of this mentioned before but is it me or is there a lot of members having some seriously bad luck at the moment? Neutral

Its the summer madness desending upon us bikers!

I blame the sun for my misfortune, even though his face was behind the clouds at the time! Laughing

Well, with requests for 'Knee Down' and 'Wheelie' advice being common on here, accidents reports are more likely than on other sites.

When you want to 'push it to the limit', many are going to go past the limit.

Cheers,

Byrnie.

But at the same time as there are loons on here (arnt there loons on any forum?) there are many sensible inidviduals.

I consider myself in the latter catergory. All I was doing when I had my off was obeying the speed limts going around an island, when a car pulled out.

So, not everyone is pushing past the limits.

It's not just the forums. A good friend of mine rode of a cliff a month or two back and a friend of his/acquaintance of mine wrecked his R1 and has no recollection of what happened.

i think i must have had the BCF curse over the last week. was one hell of a bad riding week.

1) battery boils dry... can't turn alarm off (out of action for 1 day)
2) dead battery 2 days later ... bump-starts 'r' us
3) can't disengage my clutch... stuck 12 miles from home

4) look at what i need to buy for my bike (rear tyre, regulater, new battery, and fix clutch)... and realise i have no money

this curse sucks
