I Passed My CBT

As above i passed my cbt only for a 50cc moped but im waiting for october when im 17 for a 125cc, bearing in mind i have never rode anything with an engine i felt quite at home on the test, balance was real good slow control i found easy, its my 1st steppingstone to greatness.

Now operation buy a 125cc can be executed Smile

id recommend either loads of training or geting experience on the road before taking your test, well done with CBT, there so easy i think!

Don't be worried on the CBT man, i got there never having riden a anything 2 wheeled with an engine and not having used a peddle bike for 6 years, once your over a couple of MPH the bike seems to balance itself.

And aslong as you listen to the instructor on the road its quite easy, hard to break the sound barrier too on a 50cc ped

Congrats on the CBT pass! I have only reciently go into the world of biking and am still yet to take my CBT. I'm quite looking forward to it tho if it is as easy as people are saying. I have spent years on a "push bike" and have (in my own mind) and advance controlling of non motorized bikes whilst doing some downhill slarlom, jumps etc but am a complete novice to the controls of motorbikes.

Very novice question to ask tho, do i need to take a theory test for the CBT or is that just for the fuller licences?

No theory needed for CBT.

Cbt= easiest thing I ever done.

On some cbt's, well they did on mine, they will pick out 1 or 2 riders to rush through if they know they can already ride. Luckily i was one of them and was out on the road a good 3 hours before everyone else and finished a lot earlier too. They all had to stand around and watch some lad who sed he cud already ride try and pull away on this new yamaha thing and stall every bloody time. quality to watch, but seriously its the easiest thing ever, a bit of a laugh, and the first step to greater things Thumbs Up

Hi i passed my cbt today. I went on tuesday and rode on a honda cg 125, As i had never been on a bike before i actually found it quite tough i did ok but i just had trouble with the clutch getting away(stalling) and the gears but i didnt get out on the road, so today i had to go back and did it all again but on a scooter and passed. Now on a scooter it was the easyiest thing i had ever done. But hey at least i passed and now i got to buy a scooter and a cheap 125 to just practice with the gears on the quite roads.
