Posted: 14:11 - 12 Aug 2005 Post subject: NSR Italian CDI Unit for a UK Bike ! How to.. |
 |
|
I understand that for a UK bike it's an upgrade to have an Italian CDI ?
Just to note, this is the CDI markings. C1572 1.2 071
I got one off an Italian NSR125RK 1990. And my Bike is a UK 1999 NSR 125R.
Will it be compatible? Also I know That the CDI may be dead after a few miles.
What wires will I have to swap around or Remove??
Please Help asap!! ____________________ Visit www.hustlerproduction.tk for ?1 albums! |

Italian and UK NSRs have the same CDI units (CI626), but French and other imports have different CDIs (CI639). Check your CDI, if it says CI626, it isn't restricted and you don't need to worry about it |

Mine doesn't and neither do a lot of the early Italian imports
The best person to ask is alains, he can tell you what you have on the bike by giving him your frame number. ____________________ NSR 125F > BROS 400 > NC30 > BROS 400 > Trumpet S4 > '97 VFR 750 |
