Tyre slime kinda works...I use it because its convienient. The plugs are pretty good, I've ridden round on tyres with a few plugs in (can't remember how many they recommend you bin the tyre at though), but the plugs take a while to put in and you need a bunch of equipment to do it (stuff you don't normally carry round). The slime lets you get to a garage where they'll bin the tyre anyway Wink

I had 3 punctures in 1 day once, got the 2 I got on the way to work (rear tyre) plugged while I was at work, then I got another one on the way home (front tyre)...figured they were bad luck and got 2 new tyres...they had only been on about 2 weeks at the time...

A.

AND begin sentances in lower case when capitals are the customarily preferred option - You might be relatively new to the forum Ritzah but I can already tell that you're all for living life on the grammatical edge.

I look forward to more of the same punktuational (I just made that word up thanks to your inspirational typographical style) anarchy Thumbs Up

Ignoring all the wannabee English teachers in here (and my punktuation Razz )

Sound like you've still got good old fashioned spoked wheels if you are running with inner tubes.

Have a good check of your rim tape (ooer missus Shocked ) it should be sound to stop any rough ends of your spokes from rubbing on the inside of the inner tube and causing punctures.

Also if the insides of your rim is a bit rusty there might be small bits of rust flaking off and holing the tube.

Apart from that it might just be bad luck.
