Personally I reckon your head gasket is gone, and it's blowing exhaust into the water jacket: exhaust and steam from the coolant is overpressurising the system. That is very bad news itself, and if allowed to overheat, the head will warp and have to be skimmed. It is however, a fairly simple job to replace it, especially on a two-stroke, with no overhead valves.

Has there been any steam from the exhaust?

ARGH for god sake! Will it smell of exhaust gasses if I smell it?? Also wouldnt I lose compression and the engine not run?

You asked so cut the drama.

Why would it smell of exhust as it comes out the CYLINDER? think about it. Also most of the componants of exhaust gas break down in water I believe.

Why would the bike not run? yes the compression would be lower but the gas is being pushed into the water jacket not the water being pushed into the cylinder.

Well I suppose you could always carry on believing you have a family of elves or pixies putting the air in the coolant system.

Could be a stubborn airlock as often they're tricky to bleed. Could be head gasket, hard to tell without looking at the bike. Hows it running now mate?

Hmm. 2 stroke cooling systems. Had many problems with mine on my speedfight.

I ended up puttting fresh in mine and then leaving it ticking over with the rad cap OFF for about an hour with a fan blowing cold air onto the radiator to get all the air out of my system...

Head gaskets are Piece of P1ss to change on 2 strokes. Few bolts and your done. Cool

even liquid cool'd are easy.

Slighty out of context but I used to have problems with BMW's (cars) that used to cause me the same headache, it was almost impossible to get all the air out doing things the proper way, used to run them with the cap off and a hose pipe through the top hose. Same symptoms as you particulary the 'eruption' bit when the air finally escapes. If the head gasket has gone then there is usually water going into the cylinder as well, you might see this on the plug.
