Hey, if I can make it to Santa Pod on a January day, two up, from Newcastle upon tyne, setting off at lunch time then you soft southern wufters can make it to York (or just outside)! Razz

The track is great with fanntastic grip. No Cars and the added bonus of getting your bike flat out for over a mile without fear of blue lights.

Do it because if you don't you will only doing yourself out of some major fun.

Just the cost to start with... I spent at least £30, probably more like £40 for petrol to santa pod and back. It's going to be a pertty expensive day to elvington (though I could down-gear it which would help Confused

)

Well the southern posse are welcome to stop at our house if you want to come up the day before, then its around 40 miles to make the journey to Elvington. Might be a bit cramped mind you coz its only a small house (bungalow) but it is an option.
