I picked NSR because I had one and it was great, and reliable too. If I was going to have one just as a toy, i'd pick the RS though.

Prefer for what?
Riding down fast country lanes? Doing distance on a motorway?
Commuting in a town? Looks?
Hourses, for courses, as they say .
Oh and something seems to have gone wrong with your, all sorts of funny characters in it . |

RS if you want speed
Mito if you want to pose
XTC if you want to stand out from the crowd
RG if you are on a budget (but it will be shagged by now)
CBR if you have more money than most, and you are sensible, or if you are seduced by honda's marketing, or if you are blind and think it somehow looks good.
TZR if you are on a reasonable budget somewhere between an old CB125 and a new RS125, and you want all of the above to some extent
NSR if you want a two stroke that is reliable and fast.
So I'm not going to vote.
Oh and when I had a 125 it was an NS125R ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade

NSR as I had one, and personally I think they're the best looking 125.

I voted TZR due to my total lack of experience on any of the other bikes. I get the feeling you're going to get more of a commonly bought bike list rather than anything based on vast experience of the 125s. ____________________ 'Allo! My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!

I loved my rs125 and had no problems with it, it never let me down and it looked the dogs as well.
However they do need a bit of careful looking after and getting a minter like mine was could be a bit harder. It is worth spending a bit extra to get a good example thou ____________________ Now owner of a 1200 Bandit |

RS as i have one BUT they
arnt relible - just paid £600 for rebuild+few other things i broke when blow up
not cheap to run - 2t oil is really expensive and 98 petrol is over a pound at the moment
no easy to learn gears on - as the powerband and not low revs pull
still love them though! ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

mines normally 72 but goes right up in traffic! mine hasnt got a catalitic convertes as pre what ever date they were brought in, my sticker said only 98 petrol and so does manual but taken sticker off now, i might be in your manual or maybe your RS is different,
still great bikes to ride though even though mines turned into a money pit!! ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

i have only ridden the cbr125, nsr125 and rs125
My rs125, is the best for country roads where you can go fast, and it turns nicely.
The NSR is better for in town, as its got better power at low revs, it doesnt turn quite as nicely as the rs125, even at low speeds. Riding position is very comfy, more upright.
The NSR would probably be a better bike for me than my rs125, but I'd miss the powerband kick, which you dont really get on the nsr.
The smooth power delivery on the nsr is good for learners tho.
I cant think of anything nice to say about the cbr125. I prefer a cg125 to a cbr 125, but a sr125 is worse than both. ____________________ colin1 is officially faster than god |
