I'm never quite sure why people boast about stuff like this online.

It isn't unknown for people to be prosecuted for their admissions of guilt online, and it's also a well known fact that the police regularly scan these forums.

A number of official emails have been sent to the admins in the past requesting information on users regarding reported cases of vehicle damage etc.

Just be careful what you say! Wink

It's a simple enough assumption that your name is Richard, and you're in Manchester. You ride a ZXR400. How much more info do they need to pin it on you if she has your numberplate and it matches said info? Confused

So you slowed down to try and piss off another road user that wanted to overtake you. Then they did overtake, you didn't like their idea of safety, so thought it would be a good idea to knock off ~£100 wing mirror.

Do you sit in the fast lane of the motorway at 70 as well, and smash peoples windows when they undertake you?

I find the "nearly hitting a kid" line dubious. Doubt a person with several years more road experience than you is going to perform an overtake unless they judge it safe. Was the kid in the middle of the road or was it standing by the side waiting to cross?
Modern cars have big brakes. They can stop very quickly.

Did you perchance speed off in front of the car after knocking off its wing mirror? If so, chances are she has your plate.

I find all this pussyfooting around schools very trying. These kids are bombarded constantly with instructions for crossing the road, they know to look before walking. Far better idea to drive/ride ultra carefully past pubs at closing time.

I keep the speed sensible and I stay more alert if theres an obvious risk of someone running/stumbling/falling in front of my wheels.

I tend to go slower around the one school on my commute around pick up/drop off time because the car in front is going slower.

Certainly don't go along at 30 with my eyes glued to the speedo. That sort of behaviour causes accidents.

Yes we need more safety vigilantes like yourself - deliberately holding people up, provoking them into performing reckless manouvers and then vandalising thier cars to teach them a lesson.
Maybe you can ask the police for a job when they come round to nick you for it. Nice one.
