as in a delivery job (pizza's / takeaway etc)?

Just wondering about the insurance issue, does it go up dramatically if your using it for that kind of thing?

Can anyone tell me the difference it goes up by compared to normal insurance?

I was thinking it might be a good idea for an evening or 2 doing that for extra cash for a few months. Maybe buy a cheap 125 or something to do it on and keep the 500 for outside work. No point if your insurance goes up too high.

Most companies add 250% to your premium for courier use.

Well I can't tell you about courier insurance, but business class 1 (in connection with a business, multiple locations, not delivering) for me doubles it pretty much. I was getting quote around the 250 mark without, just paid 560 with.

Courier insurance is def. more. Though I have some nasty little points, so it may change a bit for others. I think for delivery work, you will have to have experience and no claims to make it reasonable.

Incidentally, If you are looking at Dominos or something, they provide insurance.
