I find the easier way to remind me is to put the disc lock bag over my ignition
Unlucky mate, hope it isn't anything bad. ____________________ Bike: Suzuki Bandit 600, 2002, Blue

Ouch, I did this on the first day of having my First bike DOH, luckily being an ickle newbie I didnt pull away very fast and everything was OK, then got a reminder cors which I hook round my handle bar so I cant hold the throttle without it getting in the way. ____________________ **************Honda CBR 600 FR***********

i always put mine on the back brake, then atleast if i drive off and fuck the back brake i have the front which are the most powerful. mabye consider writing on your tank "have you taken your disc lock off?"
Hope it isnt too expensive to fix ____________________ Ride Fast, Brake hard, don't fall off! |

i liked the idea of a reminded cord but didnt want to be faffing around with that aswell as lock, key etc.
So now what i do is i leave the kill switch in the kill position if i put the lock on. This way, I physically cant start the bike without thinking why i left the bike with the kill switch like that, then i remember the lock
Id take the bike to a garage, and pray they know what they are doing. I think I could cope if anything else went wrong while riding, but not the front brake.
Obviously when you know its not working, you can make do with the back brake, but i wdnt want to think its working and then reach for it and nothing happens one day. ____________________ colin1 is officially faster than god |
