For crying out loud.
Just be responsible.
Stick the 7x7 'L' plates on your bike and ride the bloody thing. You're not an embarrasment to anyone. We've ALL had to do it, so why not you ? Once you pass your test you can cut them up with glee.
If you were learning to drive a car I'm sure you'd get very short shrift from the instructor if you asked him or her to cut down the 'L' plates.

ive rode a 1 1/2 on two different bike with no l-plate on front and never had problems. few of my friend had cut down ones but if you dont like just dont have it on you bike i think is the simple answer ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

Yeah, I never get why young blokes (not that I'm old and crusty ) feel the urge to do this. You see some where they just cut out the 'L' and stick it on the front of the bike. Why?
Just asking for a copper keen on getting promoted to fuck you right over one. Doubt they'll bother pulling you over if you've just trimmed a wee bit of the white stuff off but again seems a pretty pointless task to undertake. |
