Would anyone know how to remove the front sprocket on a GSXR600? Does the bolt go clockwise or counterclockwise? I didn't get a manual yet Any suggestions which books are the best?
Any help would be much appreciated... |

Normal thread so you undo it anti-clockwise. Sprocket nuts are notoriously tight - use the correct size socket with a breaker bar and a length of pipe slipped over it.
Put the bike in gear and have someone stand on the back brake. You may also need a piece of stout timber slipped through the back wheel to jam against the swinging arm.
Start heaving with the end of the pipe at floor level near the back wheel - the nut usually gives up when you've got the bar vertical next to the tank! Trust me, they are that tight |

The pdf manual would be great. I have access to an ftp site thru my work for large file transfers. If you would copy it to ftp://syracuse:syracuse@cicada.davey.com the folder name is Evelyn. I could grab it from there. Thanks again for all your help!
Maybe I will be able to offer you a helping hand. someday in return! |

Sorted!
Firefox wouldn't do it but I tried in IE and it seems to have gone. Now you need a quiet Saturday morning in the office to print it all out
Just in case there's anything sensative or personal in that link I'd delete it if I was you.
Best of luck |
