I reckon you should do Ghostrider style things, you know, like baiting the police and then leaving them standing when you make a getaway on one wheel.

Midnight blast going very fast is only interesting if you're doing something other than just going very fast, add in some police and high speed filtering and you'll get respect.

Go and bait the police. Smile

You don't need an R6 to do that Ste!

I used to do it all the time on my RS125 as you well know, was funny when you waved your middle finger at them when I took you on the back and we had a chase.

Shame we didn't think of making a cool video of an RS125 getting away from the police! Sad

Here's the thing, you only get in trouble if you stop for them, take your plate off as Shaun said and you'll have no problems.

You'd be able to get away from them very very easily as you're a fast rider. Smile

Come on, go bait the police and get you'll get lots of respect. And even more respect if you can get yourself onto Traffic Cops onto BBC (see this thread) getting away from them in a chase. Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green

Hehe, when i read that it reminded me of Blackadder and Baldrick!

[Blackadder mode]: Thats an excellent plan 18aprilia, apart from a couple of small, very minor drawbacks. 1) You need a R6, and 2) You need a bike licence[/Blackadder mode] *slap round the back of the head*

I'm being entirely serious with the suggestion of making a video of him outrunning the police to get people to respect him. Razz

First thing, I've noticed before that to some degree it seems you are doing videos for the sake of 'respect'.
Don't. Personally, I would have thought most of yours would have the opposite effect as they have been pretty poor in relation to other videos people have done.
Make a video for yourself, to improve your skills, or make a video to show what a group of people have been doing.

I also think it's stupid to choose to go out at night if you're recording, as the footage naturally looks worse. Generally people are interested in seeing things they consider 'cool', either because they can't do it, or they can do it and would find it a fun thing to do if they were. Recording your ride to the local shops isn't going to make you an instant legend. What you think is fast may not be the same for other people.
Have a look at what other people consider to be good (although some on this forum seem to think everything is good Confused ).

Music tastes are going to depend on who's watching, but does need to be relevant to the action at the time, so heavier/faster music for appropriate sections while a more sedate pace if there's less action on screen. Getting scenes to be in time with the music is one of the more important things (see bendy's vids for good examples).

Even the few times we've done stuff specifically for the camera, it's still been us enjoying ourselves messing about, not just doing something specifically for the sake of the camera.

Step one is to have a video camera, step two is to attach it to your tank. Step three, record and ride! Very Happy

i think shaun and ste are a bad influence. Shaun once said I was a safety nazi, I denied it, but I now see that compared to him, I definitely am a safety nazi Smile

I think people encouraging new riders to get up to mischief on an r6 is asking for trouble.

Id agree that night time vids probably wont come out well.

Id also agree that trying to get respect this way isnt a great idea. With your current style of posting, ppl are probably gonna take the pee no matter how good your vids are. This is what people do on forums.

No, it'll only be 'real good' if its 'real good'.

The bike is irrelevant. The style and the substance are relevant.
