Hi
I just replaced the brake pads on a blackbird. I have done about 120 miles, the stopping power is not great and They are grinding real bad in the wet just as it is about to stop. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Have you put them in the right way, with the metal side of the pads facing the pistions and not the disk?

Whats the condision of the brake disks like, any tracks or sgins of really bad wear?

your disc need to be rectified if it's not wraped . an other trick when you change pads : make their surface a bit rough with sandpaper (40 or bigger) or with a cutter make several crossing strips with a cutter .
see the design (soory i'm not very good)

Blackbird,
If you bought OE pads, be aware that they are contoured pads and they do tend to grind when new. Also, check that there are no lumps of sinter in the pads, I've seen that before.

Cheers
