Beginning to think that the BCF'rs should get together and raise funds for this sort of thing ... say a membership donation of £1 a year ... just to help out initially ... any thoughts anyone.

well, the news has slowly got worse today, further x rays confirmed iit wasnt a simple fracture, a ct scan revealed it's a mess.
The 'ball sack' incident was explained by the ct, there is a massive gap in the bottom of my pelvis, either come apart or a chunk has come off. Will def require surgery, and I'll prob be referred to st georges in tooting, which will be a pain for friends and family.

It'll be a shame to leave hayes ward, all the staff are superb, mos are v cute, all friendly, and I have my own stunning student doctor assigned to me!

Mum reports insurance company have been great so far. Prob helps that the police are doing the driver for driving without due care.

Driver was an eastern euro female, in an alfa romeo spider, pulling out of a swanky hotel. She stayed at the scene and gave insurance details. Phoned the nurses today to ask after me, so either not a total cow, or is finding out where to send the heavies to silence me!
