Hey guys,

I've made a map on www.frappr.com... Add yourselves so we can all plan rideouts and stuff!

Thanks to instigator for this idea

As you can see, I've added myself to the group and created an admin password.

If Korn/Any mods would rather take this over... PM me and I'll give you the password so you can change it Smile

(PS: Put in general so more people see it)

https://www.frappr.com/bikechatforums

Could you please put your bike model in a shoutout? Smile And use your BCF USERNAME as the name of the map location - This makes it much easier for all of us!

Sorry to sound like a wet blanket, but doesn't the map feature in the profiles of BCF and the regional forums on here do much the same thing?

Just a thought.

Great idea though. Thumbs Up

But this will show where everyone is all in one map, therefore you do not have to check each persons profile.

Indeed.

You could see everyone in Manchester for example, and send a PM to each member about organising a rideout... You might recognise people you see every day... etc

Also, could you please put your bike model in a shoutout? Smile And use your BCF USERNAME as the name of the map location - This makes it much easier for all of us! Smile

I made an account for london, but i though it placed you on the map using your postcode. Obviously it doesnt Confused So can you delete my london account, as i've made a new one for Dartford, which is correct... The one to be deleted is the one on the right of tokarev Thumbs Up

Not trying to piss on anyone's fire, but there was a reason Korn doesn't show precise locations on the map.

Lets say I'm a bike theif, a local breakers has said that someone's come in asking for all the plastics for a Thunderace.

Quick flick through the pics, ah there we go, 'feef' has one located in Cambridge, great got his precise location to within a few houses as well, ta!

Personally, I won't be entering my location on there.

Nice one. I've always wanted to have a map where we could see who was near us. That was the major limitation of the BCF one.

There's a grayed out Map link at the top - perhaps Korn could just link to this thing.

Get everyone from BCF on there and it woul dbe a great way to find people near you for rideouts. Especially good seeing as it uses the Google Map.

Thumbs Up
