My mate has a system he got off ebay for about £40,
Fitted it for him, but it came with no instructions on how to work the fob... he managed to arm the bike, and then set the alarm off.
This then meant that he had immobilised the bike. At this point we could not work out how to mobilise the bike again. And as a result had to strip that section of wires out. So now just the alarm works.
If i was you, get a decent one. 80-90 £ Minimum, and make sure its a known brand. Else you could be in for some trouble if and when it goes wrong. ____________________ CBT Aug '03 ... Gilera GSM 50 ... Honda NSR 125 Aug '04 ...

It seems I'm a little out of touch with technology of today so I will take back the comments on them being dangerous but even so unless you need one for insurance purposes you can get the desired effect at a fraction of the cost with a flashing led. ____________________ Bandit 600, TDM 850,Bandit 1200

The immobiliser I fitted at the weekend was only connected to the starter relay. It cost £18 as an add-on to the alarm, which cost £70. The only bonus it has over the standard alarm is that it triggers the alarm as soon as the ignition switch is on, and obviusly the starter motor is disabled. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/
