PASSED 8 minors!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

i had to get up at 5.30am and had to be at the training centre at 7.30, i overetimated the traffic and got there at 7am Sad but i was glad as gave me time to read book they gave me etc etc,

was well nervous and went for a ride with the guy that was taking me there (not my instructor as she was busy) and helped with my nerves.

anyways the ride wasnt one of my best but was ok and he passed me! i got to my house and still couldnt believe it! took my friend on the back just now shortly after L-Plate removal (that was fun Very Happy ) and about to ride to see my GF, she wont go on the back though Sad

anyways, im still really excited and cant believe i can buy any bike i want now (with 33bhp retrictions of course Smile) still hasnt properly sunk in!

Congrats! Clapping Did you take it on the RS?

I'm going to take my A2 sometime in 2006 hopefully. Is the bike test easier than a car test, as i see more people passing bike tests first time. Already have a driving licence though!

actully quite usefull you ask...

i think im quite tempted buy at SV650 as i do a lot of miles and think with ~70bhp it would be a good second bike (had enough of 2t's)

what do you think of them instigator as i think you had one?

thanks for the comments guys Very Happy

SV650's are good bikes, also quite cheap second hand as Suzuki are doing a £1 deposit and 0% Finance on new bikes.

G certainly doesn't hang around on his SV race bike!

BTW, what you doing on here, I did over 400 miles the day I passed my bike test!

Doh!, I'd have come and joined you, but I've still got no working brakes on the bike.

Nice one mate! Thumbs Up

Be careful when you get your big bike though. I only just passed my test about a month ago & I hopped straight onto my GSXR600 the same day, all excited n' that & I nearly killed myself in about 10 mins!! Shocked Its quite different from my RS125 & its really easy to get into trouble with it!!

Fanastic bikes so long as you realise what they are good for and don't expect much more. Great on the mpg (well, from about £11 I get 150 miles+. Budget bike but if you get the suspension set up correctly and braided lines, they brake and handle amazingly. Sound lovely too and parts are cheap as chips on ebay.

But they do hold their value better than something like a bandit. Which is either a good thing or a bad thing, depends if you have one or want one Wink Cheap on insurance too, only a group 10 bike whereas 400cc's are group 12 I think (well, zxr's, frv's etc)

Recommend them.

yea was such a nice day for it, although a bit slipery (lock rear wheel on RS on the way to training centre, not good!)

yea would love a GSXR600 and could afford it but as i pay for all my bike stuff (not parents hand outs) i dont like the idea of load of my wages going on just insurance.

well just got back and still on a high from it all, although very tired from 5.30 start! put the RS up for sell soon! be bikeless for a few weeks which will be tourture as will have to cycle to work, not good at all!

thats what i though this morning, relax and will be fine i think. Thumbs Up and get at least a days training.
