A bikers help.

Well today me and my bro pocket rocket are fixing my bike and cleaning everything as i cnt ride it for another two weeks because of my arm.
We are fixing it at this garage down the road witch we hire and these two guys come up to us and we start chatting, they are bikers and he asks what were doing so we tell them and hes like you dont want to do it like that mate..............

He goes to his garage gets some tools takes my cracked fairing and says that he has fixed loads of fairings so he does mine and it is a very professional job, much better than what we could have done.

He says il be down here on sataday and il bring the rest of my tools etc "just go over the fibre glassing a few more times"

Me and my bro are just in shock that these two guys have just put my fairing back together, they also helped me with the annoying indicator that wouldnt work.

Its great to be a biker!!!!

Well shockingly i was helped by a harley rider today so Thumbs Up

My view has changed on them.

You will find that most bikers are kind people and will help the people who dont Middle Finger

Yeah there is us four brothers although only three of us are on bikes at the mo.Pocket rocket, me(A J) and the docter.

Two CBR600Fs and a CBR125 but soon to be a ZX6 and when my older bro gets round to doing his DAS there will be a SV650s.

I second the suprise with harley riders ...... I was driving home the other night in me cage and saw a biker trying to push his bike along the A130 (essex) if anyone knows it, that aint fun, so I pull over and ask if he needs a hand and he said that his bike died and he wanted some light to have a look at it (he was on a bandit 600) so pulled me car up with full beam on and we couldnt get it working so I said that he could come sit in the car out of the wind and rain untill the tow truck got there. anwyay we spent the next couple of hours (bloody recovery men) sitting chatting and it turns out his pride and joy is a harley... and would you beleive it, he was a really nice guy Thumbs Up

anyway just thought I would say, a little off topic but hey

also off topic and not quite as cool as snake eyes story but i was going along a road with 2 lanes my way and 1 lane the other and was in the fast lane and for some unknown reason i nodded at a harley, relised wouldnt get much reponce but this harley guy gave a massive smile, was great and harley never notice me or smile ever!

maybe they have all taken happy pills!lol

i personally nod at any bike, i even end up nodding in the car, except ped bois! I will nod at a scooter rider wearing protective clothing, but any old kevin riding bare chested gets a big feck off from me.

On that point, i saw a guy in barnsley on a scooter, full faced lid, textile bike jacket, gloves, shorts and sandles!! Do you only get hurt on your upper body these days then??

One time I was stuck, when I first got my bike, at the side of the road because my chain was really loose and I over tightened it by accident.

After about an hour a guy on a bandit goes past before I have a chance to wave him down. Few seconds later I hear him coming back my way. Very Happy

He showed me how to tighten the chain properly and got me back on the road. Saved me 8 hours of waiting there.
