Just had a decent offer from my insurers after turning down their previous offer so I think my choice will be a K6 GSXR 750 - that's unless my head takes over and I pick up a cheaper K4 or K5, but I just love the look of the K6.

I have a 'thing' for black bikes so probably go for the black.

i think blue and white suzuki's are the best colors to but on the K6 the black one looks far better! looks like such a sexy bike!

Get your name down for one now - i reckon they'll fly out of the showrooms! Plus it'll piss mcgee off if he knows you've got the new sparkly one!

What about the original R1?

"Cheap" - prices from 3,000. 3,500 should get you a really nice one. 130bhp+, meant to be somewhat scary. A lot of bike for the money. An upgrade from the 600RR, power-wise anyway.

And save the rest of the money for something else.

Get an MZ1000SF as they look very different and from the reviews, are very very fun. Have you been allured by supermotos? KTM DukeII. Failing that get a 748 which'll be knocking about for under 4 grand, and it's a piece of motorcycling history.

Laughing Laughing

Of course you can have a go....Remember, you damage it and I will kill you in the most painful way I can think of Very Happy

Claud, I know you're talking sense and I should take your advice, but I find with bikes I'm ruled by my heart not my head. I saw the black Gixxer and new it was 'the one'. The same feeling I had with my old bike. The GSXR just ticks all the right boxes.

And WN, I find wetwipes get the cum stains off very well Thumbs Up

At the risk of doing a COLINWALL, I've changed my mind again. But this time I'm pretty sure about it and am really going for what I want. The next post on the subject will be posting pics of the beast.

Probably.

Got a gxr 750 k6 for £6,750 - 2 months ago - Ah the pleasures of living on a VAT fre island .

Great bike - very comfortable for what its for ! and goes like stink.

In black it looks positivley evil - especially with carbon panels on (from the money I saved on the VAT)

Happy days
