I noticed the other day that under heavy braking (almost emengency brake, really hard), the chain made a clicking sound. Well I think its the chain, came from the back wheel area. I do use the rear brake if this is any help. Is this normal under heavy braking?

Thanks

Winter is a bitch for chains, might need a new one, could be to tight or too loose.
Or maybe tight spotting, needs a good coating in lube.

Have you checked that the rear wheel locking nut is at the correct torque setting? (Tight enough)

Chain is fairly new (month old), and is only used in nice weather. I will give it a good lubing and check that nut. Might also check the sprocket nuts and allignment.

Thanks Thumbs Up

Did you have the clutch pulled in?? sounds to me as if you didn't & the bike was on the verge of stalling causing the chain to flap about a bit.
